Who Needs Utensils!

Jonah has started to get this whole eating with a utensil thing. He still kind of alternates between fingers and spoon. Usually more fingers than spoon, but I've noticed him using it on his own this week at least.

Entertained by Video of a Friend

As usual, I'm on the computer checking email while Jonah eats his cereal, strawberries and canteloupe. After he gets his hunger mostly satiated he refuses to eat and points at the computer saying "boppee, boppee." Mind you, I didn't even have the blog up or anything. So I proceed to play all the videos I have of him and Olivia, whom he calles boppee, in order to get him to finish off his cereal. I think I need to arrange a play date so he can see her in the flesh.

Two Year Molars and A Prophetic Dream

Today, Jonah went to Kindermusik class. He normally really loves it, but today he hardly participated. Even the instructor commented that she could hardly get a smile out of him. At one point he even stood up a and hugged me and put his head on my shoulder. We're thinking his teeth are bothering him - he's getting his 2-year molars already. Poor Baby.

Also, last night I had a dream and in it was a little blond headed girl - lighter blond than Jonah's and her hair was curly. We'll see if it's prophetic at all on how Jonah's sister will look.

Our First Trip to the Museum of Life + Sciences

Today, we met some friends and took Jonah to the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham. He had a great time and made friends with 25-month old Serra (pronounced like Sarah but roll the r). He really enjoyed the outside sound making areas with drums, chimes, bells and symbols.

A New Friend

Tonight, we went to dinner at a friends house. There were several families there, including little 14 month old Erdam and Jonah's buddy Olivia (a.k.a Boppee). They had a pretty good time together. I think Erdam was growing on Jonah 'cause by the end of the night Jonah tried to give him a hug, but Erdam kind of backed away. Maybe next time Jonah.

Olivia Get's a Nickname

This morning I was looking at this blog and when I scrolled down to where the video is of Jonah and Olivia, he started saying "Boppee." And when the screen went away he freaked out so I went back and played the video and he said "Boppee." After that video ended he freaked out again so I opened up the other 3 videos of them and played them for him and he loved watching them. So he really like watching videos of himself and Olivia and it looks likes he has named Olivia, "Boppee."

Jonah Walks to the Park

This evening Kelly took Jonah to the park down the street and didn't take the stroller as usual. Jonah walked almost the whole way.

Baby Girl's Ultrasound

Today, Jonah went to the ultrasound of his baby sister and was very much entertained by it for about 30 minutes.

Since it was Mommy's birthday, we went out to dinner at Chili's with Tyson & Gina and Amy & Tom. Jonah was so good throughout the long dinner and even dessert.

The Moon - A Big Ball

Tonight, Jonah went with Daddy to Target to get Mommy a birthday present. When he saw the big, bright moon in the sky he pointed and said "Ball." Kelly corrected him and said "moon." Then he realized his mistake and said "You know I guess it is a really BIG ball."

Hair Cut Complete - Finally!

Tonight, I cut Jonah's hair or rather finished cutting it from two weeks ago. Daddy entertained him with the camera while I finished cutting.

Playdate with Livi

Today, Olivia came over for a playdate with Jonah. Once Jonah stopped throwing things at her - his mannish way of sharing we think - they really enjoyed each others company.
