Old Toys Made New

I began the unpacking process by getting the kids set up with some toys in their new playroom. They so enjoyed playing with things they haven't seen in nearly 9 months. It was hard to get them to leave.

We officially move in this weekend. We are all looking forward to being out of the RV for awhile.

Jonah-Borg

This kid can take anything and make a toy or costume out of it. This is what happens when we get an Amazon delivery- he cuts and pastes the packaging into "armor." He says that he is supposed to be like a storm trooper.

Teach Your Child to Read.... Times Two

Yesterday, Elisabeth finished all 100 lessons in Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. When Jonah finished the book last year, we celebrated with cookies. So, we stopped and got a little ice cream cake to celebrate (I was glad to avoid having to bake in our RV oven). She is excited to move on to reading more actual books and to getting her reward. (Now, I just have to find some glow in the dark play dough.)
